
On April 28, 29, 30, & May 1, Mason High School Performing Arts will presentDisney’s The Little Mermaid. Show times for April 28, 29, & 30 are 7pm. The show on May 1 starts at 2 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students, children, and seniors. Reserved patron seats are also available. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World." The show is a treat for the entire family.
Disney’s the Little Mermaid features a cast 48 students and features Jenna Skidmore as Ariel, Nathanael Lape as Prince Eric, Sydney Vargo as Ursula, Jay Rodriguez as Sabastian, Delaney Cowles as Scuttle, Connor Lape as King Triton, and Dakota Lamm as Flounder. It is also accompanied by an full orchestra made up of Mason band and orchestra students. Over fifty students have also worked as technicians and stage hands. The play is produced by special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
