Registration - 2022-2023 (Kindergarten through Grade 12)

We are pleased to announce that we are implementing our online registration software beginning with incoming students for the 2022-2023 school year.

Registration must be completed by a parent/legal guardian residing with the student within the Mason City School district.

Before you begin the online registration, you will be asked to create a username and password for your application.  Keep this information safe for future reference (to refer back to).  At any time during the online application, you may “Save” the information and log back in to complete it at a later date, but it MUST include all required documentation in order to complete the registration.

To begin the online process please click the link to begin Registration 2022-23.

If you do not have a computer or internet access, or need hands-on assistance to complete the online registration process, our data team is available for support on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at Mason’s Central Office, 211 North East St., Mason, OH.  Computers and scanners are available for your use.

General Kindergarten Information

Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before September 30th

Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year will be ½ day programs with AM hours 9:20 AM – 12:05 PM, and PM hours 1:05 PM – 3:50 PM.  Your child’s session is determined by the address of your residence.  Please refer to the street listing posted on our website to determine the kindergarten session for 2022-2023.  Bus number and pickup/drop off times will be available late July, and pickup/drop off locations will be available late June.

If you are coordinating a residential private child care, you must stay within your residential assigned session for your child to receive Mason School bus service both to and from school.  If you wish to request a session change, please submit the Kindergarten Session Change Request form found on our website.  Session changes will be granted only if enrollment numbers allow.  Please know that transportation schedules may be affected if you are granted a session change.

Most public daycare centers within the Mason City School District receive bus service for both sessions.  However, please be aware that some daycares may be assigned to a specific session due to their location.

If you have questions or concerns, please email [email protected]com or call (513)-229-4040.
